ANGEL
One Act comedy
by Paul Casey
SYNOPSIS
Two grown sisters get together in an emergency meeting to decide what to do about “Mama Angel.” Lily has taken care of her for years but is now beside herself. A care facility is out of the question, because the sisters have a well-guarded and tainted past, and Angel TALKS! She needs her medication or she’ll die, and the more medication she takes the louder and less inhibited she gets. It is also the first time Lily’s son Dick and Suzanne’s daughter Joyce have seen each other in about fifteen years and instantly dislike each other. When an unexpected incident at a local bar leaves the two kids alone with Angel, the revelations begin.
